Revising Your Paper

After you have drafted your paper, set it aside for at least 24 hours. If you have the time, waiting for two or three days is even better. Then begin the revision process.

For the first revision, you should work alone to get the paper as good as you can get it without help. During this process, review your assignment sheet and the Core Skills Writing Rubric.

After you have completed the second draft of your paper, you are now ready to get feedback from other people before writing another draft.
