Some might argue that children who watch Kid ‘in’ Africa will not understand the racism and that adults would view it as parody. However, others would argue that the subtle political messages in films do influence people.

Neil Cavuto makes this argument about Happy Feet (2006). He found the film offensive because of its left wing propaganda.

To continue the dialogue, members of the faculty could show a film clip of Cavuto making this argument as the start of a discussion about subtle racism or political propoganda.
