Assessment for
Discussion of Disibilities and Film

The following rubric will be used to assess your contribution the discussion.

Students who do not participate a minimum of six days during the discussion will receive 0 quality points.

Incorporating two database articles, two Internet cites, and two references to the textbook are the minimum expectations for this discussion. Students who only do the minimum amount of work are not making a quality contribution.

6 points


You will receive one point for each day you contribute to the on-line discussion to a maximum of six total points.

2 points


You will receive one point each to a maximum of two points for incorporating information from a peer reviewed article in Schoolcraft College's on-line databases into the discussion. To receive credit for your contribution, you will need to include a citation to the article. This can be done using a cut and paste method.

2 point


You will receive one point each to a maximum of two points for incorporating information from a web site in your response to a colleague. To receive your point, you must include a hot link to the web site.

2 point


You will receive one point each to a maximum of two points for incorporating material from Giannetti's Understanding Movies into the discussion. To receive credit, you must include the page number from the text book from which your information was taken.

12 points


You can receive up to twelve points for the overall quality of your contribution. If you do not participate a minimum of three days during the week, you will earn 0 quality points regardless of the quality of the postings you do make.
