Overview
This module will cover material on
Short Film Analysis (Response)
You will analyze five films which have been selected by colleagues.
You should read the material I have prepared on these topics.
Reading Assignment
 For this module, you will read Chapter 11 of Louis Giannetti's Understanding Movies.
At Rotten Tomatoes, you can easily find a variety of reviews about movies. I suggest that you go to the web site and find two reviews for a movie you have seen. One of the critics you read should find the movie "fresh" while the second review from a critic who finds the movie to be "rotten." It is interesting to see how different critics approach the same film.
Assessment
The assessment for this module will be seen in the quality of each film analysis and reaction you write this semester.
