Student Blogs

Research Blog

As part of the class, you will maintain a blog in which you reflect on your research. Beginning with the second week of class, I would expect your blog to include reflections about each day of class as well as periodic comments throughout the week in which you comment on your writing, research, reading assignments, and so forth.

I will show you how to set up a blog in Word Press, a site where I maintain both a teaching blog as well as a blog on my service and professional development activities.

While you are not required to maintain your blog in Word Press, your blog must be solely devoted to your work in this class.

Technological Requirements

I am aware that requiring an on-line blog could pose a significant problem for some students. Therefore, I will accept blogs compiled in three ring binders.
