Etena Sacca-vajjena Resumes Publication

There's More to Us Than Surgeons Can Remove

In my classes, we have an understanding that sometimes life gets in the way.  Unfortunately, life got in the way during the 2015-2016 academic year in such a way that it was not possible for me to write regularly in Etena Sacca-vajjena. Instead of limping along and not writing on a regular basis, I decided to take a break from blogging.

As we begin the 2016-2017 academic year, life has settled down and should no longer get in the way of blogging.  Therefore, beginning tomorrow, with an essay on “Reading Beyond the Headlines,” I will begin blogging again.

Although I have not been blogging, I have not stopped writing.  During the past few weeks, I have been getting notes from my editor on a forthcoming book; something that will be officially announced later this fall.  I have also been able to work on my art and research.

I appreciate the notes and queries from individuals indicating that they have missed reading Etena Sacca-vajjena.  I hope that Etena Sacca-vajjena continues to stimulate thinking and promote discussions in comments, in person, in class rooms, or via e-mail.
