On 24 February 1980, the USA men’s hockey team beat Finland for the Olympic gold medal.

The USA men’s team was made up of 20 college and former college hockey players. This young but eager team was coached by Herb Brooks who would go down in history for being one of the best coaches of all time. What he did with this group of men is unbelievable.
